When painting a piece of furniture for your home it is important to have an idea in your head of what you would like your furniture to look like after it is painted. A vision. A visual of the finished piece of furniture. Something that you can work towards while your are painting your furniture.
I have a worksheet to help you do just that!
This worksheet is aimed at helping you write your vision down. Writing down your furniture vision will help make sure you achieve your goal! You can print this out. Fill it out and hang on your fridge for when you are ready to begin! 🙂
Chalk Paint Furniture Inspiration
When I think about inspiration I think about that first time you glance at something and your thought is “that is the coolest thing ever!” It is those things that inspire you and motivate you.
Inspiration can come in all shapes and sizes and colors!
One of my favorite places to find inspiration is from Nature. Natures colors are perfect. After all the great Creator created these colors in His image. Notice the picture of the stone above has blacks, grays, tans and even some whites. I think if we look close enough we’ll even see some red tones. All of the different colors help to add depth and dimension to the rocks. If the rocks were a solid black they would not look quite as pretty. 🙂
Think about this when you are painting your furniture. The more colors and different hues of a color you use the more depth you will add to your furniture. Check out How to Blend Paint on Furniture for adding multiple colors to a piece.
Let Nature inspire your painted furniture vision!
