What You need:

Photo Below Is What You need To Get Started.

Once you have your supplies gathered begin mixing resin according to manufacturers instructions. Typically this is a 1:1 ratio. Equal parts of A mixed with equal parts of B. Stir for two minutes.

Pour clear resin into bottom of tray.

Spread resin evenly with a stir stick so that resin gets into all of the beautiful nooks and crannies of the mold. 🙂

Next in a separate cup stir a small amount of silver leaf into a cup of resin and stir. Pour the silver leaf into ONE side of the mold. And add dried rose petals to the center of the mold. You can arrange these anyway you like!

How pretty are the rose petals!?! Okay after silver leaf and rose petals have been added it is time to mix your black mica powder with a small amount of resin! Mix the mica powder with resin thoroughly. Once thoroughly mixed pour the black resin on the opposite side of the tray. A little goes a long way. Pour a small amount and see how you like it. You can always add more!

After you have poured the black resin you can use a heat gun to lightly pop any bubbles in the resin. Be careful not to use too much heat! I also added a little white pigment to create a “smoky” look!

Place Handles Carefully in resin.

Once handles have been placed in resin you are ready to let your tray cure. Let cure 8-24 hours.

When resin has completely cured (it will be hard to touch) remove mold from resin.

Your Tray is Complete!! You now have a stunning tray for your kitchen or dinning room! These resin trays also make great gifts!
